The Israel Life Saving Federation thanks its local partners for helping make our programs a success and spreading water safety awareness in Israel.
Surfing 4 Peace
Israel Life Saving Federation works jointly with Surfing 4 Peace, the Arab community's only surfing school, in order to teach water safety and surf rescue to youth and adults from Israel's Arab community. ILSF and Surfing 4 Peace's Hamama and Mohammed Gorban lead classes for Arabic-speaking youth at Surfing 4 Peace's home base in the seaside village of Jisr al-Zarqa.
Ziv Neurim
Ziv Neurim is a national Israeli program that teaches life skills to youth at risk via water sports. ILSF works jointly with Ziv Neurim, training the program's instructors to incorporate water safety and rescue skills into their program for youth.
Speedo Israel
ILSF has partnered with Speedo Israel in order to raise water safety awareness and prevent drownings. ILSF members volunteer at the annual Speedo-sponsored Lake Kinneret swim, guarding over and aiding swimmers in the water.
