About the event
A fun-filled dynamic surf rescue course for adults of all ages.
The course will be held on Sironit Beach Netanya (near Cafe Cafe).
Participants will learn:
- 🌊 Surf Awareness
- 🌊 Ocean swimming
- 🌊 Rescue skills
- 🌊 Board rescue
- 🌊 Tube rescue
- 🌊 First aid and CPR
- 🌊 Life saving sports
- 🌊 and have loads of fun
Learn basic ocean awareness and safety, which includes both basic ocean swimming and surfing as well as an introduction to ocean first-aid and rescue skills.Â
This is the course for volunteers who want to participate in the water with our various activities, including weekly ocean workouts for adults, water safety at open-water swims around the country, and assisting in the water at our other classes such as camps for children.Â
As Israel's International Life Saving Federation member, our program is based on the internationally acclaimed Australian surf lifesaving model for water safety education and surf rescue skills.
Prerequisite: All participants must be able to swim 200 meters in 5 minutes or less, and float for three minutes.
